The Tanzanites Band is an African pop band based in Tokyo led by singer Fresh Jumbe from Tanzania. The Band has 7 members, 4 from Tanzania, 1 from Democratic Republic of Congo and 2 Japanese . The band plays their own original compositions and also cover some hit numbers from all over Africa, Caribbean and all-over the world. The Tanzanites Band is in the top level of all African music groups in Japan. The band performs in all kinds of events, festivals, charities, ceremonies, parties, at live houses, night clubs, and Hotels. The band is now very popular amongst African Music lovers in Japan.
